· Analysis
Human being
is ruining our own and only planet by any means that satisfy our needs. One of
those is the need of beauty and entertainment. In this picture, we have seen a skinned
– woft, being angry and walked a way with a fur coat in his hand after he had
knocked out the rich woman ( who definitely paid a lot of money to purchase her
clothes ). The inspiration idea is the pay- back of mother nature to human
being after all we have done. The message from the artist is short : “Protect
the environment, stop killing animals for fur or other product or you‘ll pay
the price “

Item 2 :
The Fox and The Crow
A Fox once saw a Crow
fly off with a piece of cheese in its beak and settle on a branch of a tree.
"That's for me, as I am a Fox," said Master Reynard, and he walked up
to the foot of the tree.
"Good day, Mistress Crow," he cried. "How well you are looking
today: how glossy your feathers; how bright your eye. I feel sure your voice
must surpass that of other birds, just as your figure does; let me hear but one
song from you that I may greet you as the Queen of Birds."
The Crow lifted up her head and began to caw her best, but the moment she
opened her mouth the piece of cheese fell to the ground, only to be snapped up
by Master Fox.
"That will do," said he. "That was all I wanted. In exchange for
your cheese I will give you a piece of advice for the future: "Do not
trust flatterers."
Analysis:
In my opinion, there are two rhetorical devices employed in
this story as follows:
this story as follows:
- Metaphor: First, the artist has personalized the animals ( a
fox and a crow ) and turn them into the living characters. This will make a
good influence to the audience and specially the young children. Second, the
smart Master Fox represent a part of our social which living and profiting by
their “smoothly speak” and calculating minds. On the other hand, the Crow represents
the part of people ( mostly included by the rich and bosses ) who’d love to
hear flattery words and have no idea who they are.
- Parallelism: That can be seen in such sentences as: “How well you are looking
today: how glossy your feathers; how bright your eye” to add rhyme.

Analysis:
A
story of a day turn to a meaning of life. There are some occasion in our life,
we would have to face two or more option and have to make a decision. By any
cost, our decisions define who we are and none of these decisions should be
taken again.
- In the first item, can you make it more specific: where is metaphor used?
Trả lờiXóa- I think the story is very interesting but as Long wrote, the message is too obvious. we need a story that make us think after reading to be aware of its message.
Do you forget to give message at the item 2 and 3 ?
Trả lờiXóaItem 1:Instead of analyse the meaning of cartoon in detail, you can list some rhetorical devices such as:
- The fur indicates the natural resource exploited by human
- The fox refers to revenge of natural
- The women knocked out that is the consequence human being is suffered
I hope some my advices can help your entry better :)
* The picture is so interesting :)However, you should analys rhetorical devices used in in this picture, should you?
Trả lờiXóa* I have ever read the story "The fox and The crow" some times. That's an irony story. Why did you show it to us?
* And you forgetted to give the message for the story and the poem, did you? :)
Your poem make me think about a sentence of my mother: "Each of us has only a pair of leg, therefore you can only go in one way" :)
